IABF chief congratulates boxers on qualifying for Olympics

Chandigarh, Mar 25 (UNI) Indian Amateur Boxing Federation (IABF) President Abhey Singh Chautala today congratulated the five Indian boxers, including four boxers from Haryana, on qualifying for the Beijing Olympic Games.

He hoped that the Boxers would get medals and bring good name to Haryana and the Country.

HOA President Mr Chautala asked the union government and the states governments to bear the expense for training, fitness, diets, traveling, boarding, lodging and all other facilities for the qualifying players.

He said over a period of time the players of Haryana had made a special place for themselves at the National and International level.

Mr. Chautala said four players, Jitender Kumar, Akhil Kumar, Vijender Singh, Dinesh Kumar out of the total five boxers belonged to Haryana where as the fifth player A.L. Lakra belonged to Jharkhand.
