Chamarajanagara, Mar 24 (UNI) The stage is set to receive the AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, who will hold a daylong road-show in Chamarajanagara and Mysore districts tomorrow.
Mr Rahul, who is on a five-day visit to Karnataka as a part of 'Discover India', will arrive in Vadagere village of Yelandur taluk and proceed to B R Hills. He will be accorded a red-carpet welcome by the tribals at the Muthagadde Podu, about a kilometer from the helipad.
He will proceed to the residence of one Jade Gowda, a tribal, where he would stay and partake sweet potato and honey. Later, he would interact with the tribals and dalits at Vivekananda Girijana Kalayana Kendra.
Mr Rahul would then begin his road show at Santhemarahalli and proceed to Kavalande, Nanjangud and Begur H D Kote, before culminating end at Nagarahole, where he will stay overnight.
Gowda's residence at Muthagadde Podu, was spruced for Rahul's visit. Muthagadde Podu shelters 70 tribal families with 400 members.
They eke out a living on daily wages and hoped that Rahul's visit would change their destiny.
