TN: Hyundai employees hold demo, arrested

Chennai, Mar 24: More than 400 employees of car major Hyundai were arrested when they attempted to stage a demonstration in front of Korean Consulate today.

Police sources said 423 employees, all union members, assembled in front of the Consulate to stage an agitation when they were arrested.

They were demanding among other things, recognition of the trade union by the Hyundai management.
