Armed youth loot liquor vend after injuring employee
Ambala, Mar 24 (UNI) Four car-borne sword-weilding youth today attacked a liquor vend and decamped with Rs one lakh after injuring an employee at Devigarh village near Haryana-Punjab border on the National Highway here.
According to injured salesman Sonu, he and another salesman Ram Parkash were present at the vend when around afternoon a car stopped near the vend and two of the four occupants, came out armed with swords.
They attacked them and repeatedly struck him on the head before escaping with cash of about Rs one lakh.
Sonu was rushed to the civil hospital Ambala City with multiple injuries but was reported out of danger.
Police were investigating the case.
