Gowda rules out possibility of alliance with any party
Mysore, Mar 23 (UNI) The Janata Dal (Secular) national President Deve Gowda today ruled out the possibility of having alliance with any political party, including Samajwadi Party, in the elections to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly.
''There is no question of having alliance with any party at the moment and I have been pointing it out since the beginning. The party would contest all the 224 seats,'' he told mediapersons here.
Mr Gowda said a nine-member committee headed by his son Kumaraswamy would be formed soon to decide about selection of candidates for the Assembly polls.
''There is no question of taking one sided decision on allotment of seats,'' he added.
