More support for Sarabjit Singh
Amritsar March 21: People in Amritsar have appreciated the decision of Government of Pakistan to defer the execution of Sarabjit Singh, facing a death sentence. More support for him is being mobilized and a peace march was organized on Thursday.
Activists of the All India Human Right Association, holding placards in support of Sarabjit Singh, participated in a march. Sukhpreet Kaur wife of Sarbjit urged people of India and Pakistan to step up (build up) the "Save Sarabjit Campaign"and also requested the Pakistan President to pardon her husband, as he has not committed the crime for which he is being held guilty and given death sentence.
H. S. Dawan, the Secretary General of the All India Human right association said: "We are taking out a peace march in support of Sarbjit and request all he organizations in India to support the campaign as much as they can."
