Sixth accused arrested in Dera blast case

Karnal, Mar 21 (UNI) Haryana Police today arrested the sixth accused in the Dera Sacha Sauda chief Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh attack case here.

Identified as Gurvinder Singh alias Gunna (22) son of Balwinder Singh of Raghav Majri in district Patiala, he was handed over here today to the police by the prominent persons of Patiala, DSP (headquarters) Surender Singh Bhoria told UNI.

On February two, the day of attack, he had furnished the information of movement of Baba's convoy from Ambala to Bakshish Singh, the meastermind of the attack, on his cellphone.

He is also accused of keeping the explosive used in the attack with him.

His name had cropped up in the police remand of all the five accused arrested earlier in the case, the police said.

He will be produced in the court tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Haryana Police released four sketches of Bakshish Singh, turbaned, with beard, cleanshaven and semi-bearded.

These are without any reward as the case is pending with the state Home Department, which is to decide on the reward.
