Kathmandu, Mar 21 : Nepalese Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala is set to start campaigning for his party ahead of the Constituent Assembly elections slated for April 10.
Koirala is likely to start the campaign tour from March 25.
Koirala, who is also an election candidate of the Nepali Congress (NC) under the proportional election system, will address election rallies in Biratnagar, Itahari, Dhangadhi, Pokhara, Nepalgunj and Mahendranagar.
"Party committees in so many districts are requesting for his participation in election mass meetings, but that is not possible because we will have to consider his health conditions." Nepalnews.com quoted a NC functionary, as saying.
The schedule of Koirala's election rallies will, however, depend on his health and the advice of doctors.
For months now, the Prime Minister has rarely visited places outside the capital due to bad health.
