11 children fall ill after taking food in south Kashmir
Srinagar, Mar 21 (UNI) At least eleven children fell ill, one of them critically, after taking food at a Milad-un-Nabi function in south Kashmir, official sources said.
They said food was distributed among the devotees, including children, at a Milad function at Khirman village in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
Later, eleven children complained of pain and started vomiting.
The children were immediately admitted to sub district hospital at Bijbehara where one was referred to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences at Soura here.
Police have started investigation, they said.
