New Delhi, Mar 20: Jet Airways has been named as the best full service airline in India and Indigo the best low cost carrier by the Air Passengers Association of India (APAI). "This award will serve to further renew our commitment to providing our passengers the finest travel experience in the skies,'' Jet Airways CEO Wolfgang Prock-Schauer said in a statement.
APAI has also judged British Airways as the best international airline and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport the best airport in the public-private partnership. APAI has also ranked Kingfisher Airlines' cabin crew as the best among the domestic airlines's crew and its chairman Vijay Mallya as the aviation personality of the year.
The APAI excellence awards for 2007 were given away at the ongoing 2nd Civil Aviation Week and Airport and Airline 2008 Expo More than 150 exhibitors from 18 countries have ettended the Expo.
