Bangalore, Mar 20: Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Interior Karnataka.
Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Puttur, Mangalore 2 each, Haliyal, Mulki 1 each.
Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at most over Coastal Karnataka however below normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.
Bellary recorded the highest maximum temperature of 37.3 Degree Celsius over the State.
Minimum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at many places over Coastal Karnataka, above normal at many places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over South Interior Karnataka.
Davanagere recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 16 Degree Celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Saturday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at many places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Moderate to rather heavy rain likely to occur at many places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka.

Outlook for subsequent two days: Increase in rainfall is expected over Coastal Karnataka and no significant change is expected over Interior Karnataka.
