Capital gets reprieve from scorching heat
New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) The mercury in the national capital continued its downward trend for the second day today to settle at 34.2 degrees, three degrees above normal, much to the delight of the people braving scorching heat.
The minimum also plummeted by two degrees to 17.7 degrees celsius, three degrees above normal.
Yesterday, the maximum was recorded at 35.4 degrees Celsius, The met office said cloudy weather would prevail tomorrow. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum is likely to be 17 degrees Celsius.
The forecast over the next 24 hours is mainly clear sky in Delhi.
