New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) Malaysia's most successful driver, Alex Yoong will drive for the Speedcar Series in front of his home crowd this weekend at the support race of the Malaysian Formula 1 Grand Prix.

The first ethnic Chinese to reach F1, Alex participated in 16 races in 2001 and 2002 driving a Minardi. Having then dabbled with the Australian V8 Supercar Series and Le Mans 24 Hours, he found his calling as the director and principal driver of A1 Team Malaysia. To date, Alex has won four A1 races.
