Taslima accuses the Indian govt as 'religious fundamentalist'

London, Mar 19 (UNI) Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen who was heading for an unknown destination, called the Indian government no better than "religious fundamentalists" during her stop over at London's Heathrow Airport today The 46-year-old author remained silent about her destination due to security reasons amid rumours that she was heading for Canada or even Sweden.

''If I disclose my destination my security will be compromised and I could be the target of religious fundamentalists,'' she said adding that the Government of India was a religious fundamentalist ''I was under tremendous stress but I could not express as I was under their surveillance,'' she said and added that the house in Delhi in which she stayed since the past four months was a chamber of death The controversial anothor alleged that her human rights were infringed in the last four months and she would share her experiences in India during various international seminars.
