Mick Jagger upset about not reading Wood's memoirs before release
Washington, Mar 19 : Mick Jagger is none to pleased with bandmate Ronnie Wood, for the drummer didn't sent the Rolling Stones' frontman a manuscript of his autobiography before it was out.
The book titled, 'Ronnie' has records of Wood's wild life and has many interesting anecdotes with his Rolling Stones colleagues.
However, Wood didn't offer to let any of his bandmates read the book until after it was released, upsetting Jagger, who would have otherwise loved to have a chance to scan through the tome before it hit book stores in October last year (07).
"I haven't read it, though he very kindly gave it to me, inscribed, for Christmas (07). In fact, someone else did, too, so I've got two copies now. be truthful, I did not receive any advance manuscripts from Ronnie. I think it's always polite to do that though," Contactmusic quoted Jagger, as saying.
In fact, another Stones star Keith Richards has already jibed at Wood's work, claiming that only 50 per cent of the anecdotes are correct.
