Tirupati, Mar 19 (UNI) Condemning the killing of Hindi speaking people in Manipur, Lok Satta party President N Jayaprakash Narayan today alleged that political parties only created different religions and caste differences between the people, for attaining their selfish goals.
Addressing a press conference here, he also condemned the recent attack against North Indians in Mumbai. The difference between the people was insecure to the country's future, he added.
''Nobody should use political power as a weapon to create difference between the people,'' he said.
Mr Narayan said the party would launch a movement ''surajya'' in Hyderabad on March 23, the death anniversary of Bhagat Singh.
Accusing ruling Congress Government of delaying Corporation elections in Andhra Pradesh, he demanded the election commission to conduct the election as per the constitution.
