Karnal, Mar 19 (UNI) Former Congress MLA Rakesh Kamboj, who was recently disqualified under Anti Defection Law for joining Haryana Janhit Congress of disgruntled Congress leader Bhajan Lal, today dared Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda to contest the byelection to the Indri constituency against him.
Addressing a press conference here today, he said Haryana Janhit Congress had decided to again field him from Indri assembly seat which he won in the last election.
Challenging the Congress, he claimed that the party had no candidate worth his salt to challenge him from Indri. "Now the time has come for the people to avenge the injustice done to them by Congress high command ignoring the claim of Bhajan Lal to the post of Chief Minister".
Making a scathing attack on the Chief Minister, he alleged that all government jobs in the state were going to one region only ie Rohtak to the loss of other districts including Karnal. He claimed that 87 constables wre recruited from Rohtak in the recent police recruitment.
