Gulbarga records highest temperature of 37.7 degree Celcius

Bangalore, Mar 19 (UNI) Following ia a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka.

Dry weather prevailed over Interior Karnataka.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at many places over Coastal Karnataka however below normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 37.7 degree Celsius over the State.

Minimum temperatures appreciably rose at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and changed little over Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka; at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over South Interior Karnataka.

Chamarajnagara recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 16.8 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Friday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Possibility of rain/thundershowers towards eveining/night. Maximum and Minimum temperature likely to be around 32 degree and 19 degree Celsius respectively.
