Auctioning has done good to cricket: Pathan

By Staff

Indore, Mar 19 (UNI) Team India left-arm seamer Irfan Pathan today said there is nothing wrong in auctioning cricket players.

''What's wrong in it? Auctioning has done good to cricket in its expansion,'' Pathan, who was here to take part in a Tata Indicom programme, told reporters here while replying to their question on auctioning.

He praised the performance of off-spinner Harbhajan Singh during the matches in Australia recently.

He dubbed reports of romance by cricket players as a creation of media. He said peeping into private life of other people was not proper.

Pathan gave prizes to the winners of Tata Indicom's 'O Mania' programme.
