Chennai, Mar 18 (UNI) Chennai-based Technology Frontiers India Private Limited has bagged the exclusive rights for installation of giant screens at Chennai, Ahmedabad and Kanpur, the three venues for the ensuing India-South Africa three-test cricket series.
Techfront is a leader in providing digital system and solutions for sports, entertainment and media and has set up LED digital ground boards across 768 soccer stadiums in Europe which were used for the first time in WTA and ATP tennis events recently.
The company has signed agreements with the Board of Control for Cricket in India and respective State Associations for installing these screens, which would display live Action Replays of fours, sixers, dismissals and all third umpire decisions, highlights and real time scorecards, its Managing Director M S Muralidharan told reporters here today.
While the company would install two screens each in Chennai and Ahmedabad, it would instal one in Kanpur, the venue of the third and final test.
The LED Ground Boards would be installed and managed over 180 feet on the boundary ropes providing Dynamic Content Display of the sponsors and special moments.
These Digital Boards are similar to the application in English Premier League wherein Digital Boards were placed along the lines.
The company also launched its new hi-tech product ''Touch Me'' on the occasion.
