Pakistan govt rules out mercy for Sarabjit singh
Islamabad/Patna/Punjab March 18th 2008 : Pakistan"s Caretaker Minister for Human Rights, Ansar Burney, Human rights who was instrumental in securing the release of Kashmir Singh, said that he had no intention of helping Sarabjit Singh, an Indian prisoner who is to be hanged on April 1.
Sarabjit was sentenced to death in 1991 for spying and carrying out four bomb blasts that killed 14 people in all. Meanwhile, people across India are staging protests in support of Sarabjit Singh.
