Vijayawada, Mar 18: A two-day National Vendor Development Programme seminar-cum-exhibition would be held at Classic Gardens in Secunderabad from March 20.
The objective of the programme, jointly organised by the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) and the State Department of Industries and Commerce, was intended for supporting the industries by developing marketing linkages with BHEL, VSP, NTPC and other public sector undertakings where buyer organisations would place their requirements for mutual benefit and vendor development.
MSME Development Institute (formerly small industries service institute), Hyderabad, would showcase competancy and technology for marketing their products to various organisations.
A buyers-sellers meet and one-to-one interaction covering aspects like purchase procedure, requirements, specifications and vendor identification for developing the partnership would also be held as part of the event.
Large number of exhibitors were expected to participate in the programme, an official release said here today.
