BJP MLA stages walk out in MP Assembly
Bhopal, Mar 18: BJP legislator Sunil Nayak today staged a walk out in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly alleging that his statements were not given due importance.
During the Zero Hour, Mr Nayak turned to Speaker Ishwardas Rohani and said he had given only one notice for Calling Attention motion during the budget session but it was not accepted. He started to speak continuously over the matter.
The Speaker urged him to remain calm but when Mr Nayak did not heed he directed that the statements by the member not be recorded.
Later, Mr Nayak staged a walk out.
Mr Nayak, who is known to be a close confidante of former Chief Minister Uma Bharti, has been suspended from the BJP due to anti-party activities.
