Three OGWs arrested with LeT militant's laptop
Jammu, Mar 17 (UNI) Police today arrested three Over Ground Workers (OGWs) and recovered a laptop from their possession carrying incriminating information of militants outfits in tehsil Bhaderwah of Doda district, sources here said.
Raids were conducted on various places and three OGWs were held for sheltering and supporting ultras in carrying out anti-national activities.
''Three OGWs of LeT outfit were arrested and a laptop of Khalid-ul-Rehman code Abu Umar, resident of Railway Colony, Multan Pakistan were arrested,'' SSP Doda Manohar Singh told UNI.
The laptop contained incriminating information since the killing of Abu Umar, he said adding the OGWs have been identified as Shabir Ahmed, Girdhari Lal and Shafqat Hussain.
Abu Umar was a dreaded militant and was involved in a number of killings in District Doda including a DySP of State Police in May 2007. He was gunned down last year on July 18.
The apprehended OGWs have been put to sustain questioning for further information.
