State Govt asked to inquire into bridge collapse
Ranchi, Mar 17 (UNI) Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Alamgir Alam today directed the state government to conduct an inquiry into the bridge collapse issue by a team of senior administrative officers.
Raising the issue during Zero Hour, Mr Raj Paliwal (BJP) alleged that there were irregularities in the construction of bridge at a cost of about Rs six crore.
Meanwhile, Rural Engineering Organisation Minister Harinarayan Rai said a team had already been formed by the Deputy Commissioner and action would be taken against the guilty.
