Washington, Mar 17 : Pop princess Britney Spears' ex-manager and once-constant companion Sam Lutfi has agreed to stay away from her for another month.
Lufti will not try to get in contact with Britney for another month as per the terms of a temporary restraining order currently in place against him, E! Online confirmed on Sunday, March 16.
The lawyers of both the sides were supposed to meet in court Monday March 17 to discuss the Spears family's wish to make the restraining order permanent.
However, with Lufti agreeing to stay at least 250 yards away from Britney and her property for another 30 days, the hearing for the case has been postponed till that time is up.
A restraining order against Lufti was granted by a court commissioner on Feb 1, however he was not served until two weeks later as he managed to hide from the process servers by holing up in his Los Angeles apartment.
According to sources, Jamie Spears who has been overseeing Britney's estate since Feb 1 is keeping a close track of the people his daughter comes in contact with.
The only friend of Britney's who has been allowed back into her life is Alli Sims, with the condition that she cut off any ties she may be having with Lufti.
"[Britney and Sims] text all the time," E! Online quoted the source as saying.
"Jamie is okay with it," the source added.
