Cong MLAs, Ministers elected from Telangana should resign: TRS Prezi
Mahaboob Nagar, Mar 17 (UNI) The Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) President and former Union Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao today demanded that the Congress MLAs and Ministers elected from Telangana region should resign from their posts, as the TRS MLAs and MPs sacrificed for the cause of statehood for Telangana.
Addressing a public meeting here, Mr Rao alleged that the Congress was cheating the people of the backward region by not fulfilling the promise made during 2004 election that separate Telangana would be formed immediately after coming to power in the Centre.
He alleged that the Chief Minister Y S Rajasekharaa Reddy was showing interest only for the completion of irrigation projects taken up in Coastal Andhra and neglected the projects which were pending since decades in Telanagna.
