Bangalore, Mar 16 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minister and senior BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa today threatened to launch an agitation against Tamil Nadu's proposal to construct a reservoir at Hoganekkal, bordering the two States.
Mr Yeddyurappa along with hundreds of his supporters visited Hoganekkal and demanded that the Centre take up a joint survey of the border with Tamil Nadu, before allowing that State to take up the project.
He also visited the disputed island at Hoganekkal, known for its picturesque waterfalls.
Former Ministers Ramachandra Gowda and K S Eshwarappa also took part in the protest at Hogannekal.
