Panaji, Mar 16 (UNI) Police have tightened vigil at all vulnerable places of Goan beaches with a German woman complaining she was molested at an isolated place in South Goa's Cavelossim beach.
This incident occured even as Goa police has not yet recovered from the of shocks following the rape and murder of British teenager Scarlett Keeling on February 18 at North Goa's Anjuna beach.
The woman complained to the Colva police station authorities that an unknown person tried to pounce on her yesterday while she was bathing in the shallow waters at the beach.
She, however, escaped from his clutches. Police are trying to identify the suspect and track him down.
Police have tightened vigil at all the beach points, besides asking the tourists to follow the guidelines while on move on the beach fronts.
