Kohima, Mar 16 (UNI) The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has expressed surprise over the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) government's early budget and accused it of trying to provide stability through Central funds.
In a release NPCC media cell member Capt (Retd) Hekiya said that the DAN ministry was sworn-in on March 12 last and has called a session for an early budget March 18.
''The budget is apparently being done without application of mind but just to provide stability to the government by having money in hand,'' he said.
He also questioned the wisdom of DAN in convening the Budget session when the Planning Commission itself was yet to be apprised of the state's requirements.
