NCP to field candidates from 35 seats in Chhattisgarh
Raipur, Mar 16 (UNI) The Nationalist Congress Party would field candidates from 35 assembly seats in Chhattisgarh.
State party President Nobel Verma said a list of seats has been prepared. State party spokesperson Ajay Mishra is being sent to the party central leadership with the list.
He said the next party national executive meeting in New Delhi on April 4-5 was likely to discuss state assembly elections slated to take place by the end of this year.
The party leadership would be apprised of the political situation in the state during the meeting.
Mr Verma said the NCP had bagged seven per cent votes during the previous assembly elections and came third in the state.
