Eight-year old property dispute case resolved
Chandigarh, Mar 16 (UNI) A family dispute of eight years pertaining to Munda Khera village about sharing of ancestral property was resolved and settled amicably with the consent of both the parties in a Rural Lok Adalat organised in Mirjapur of Kurukshetra district .
The Rural Lok Adalat was organised by the District Legal Services Authority, Kurukshetra under the chairmanship of District Session Judge R C Bansal.
The dispute was related to the sharing of property between the wives of two brothers, Banti Devi wife of Balwant Singh and Sulakshana Devi wife of Ajmer Singh. Both of them had some disagreement over the sharing of street leading to their houses for last eight years, which was solved today with the consent of the both.
Rural Lok Adalats were proving very successful in resolving long pending disputes. In all, eight Rural Lok Adalats had been organised in the Kurukshetra district which had disposed of 800 cases.
A total of 162 cases were disposed off on-the-spot in the Rural Lok Adalat organised today.
