Dinanath pandey resigns from shiv sena
Jamshedpur, Mar 16 (UNI) President of Jharkhand unit of Shiv Sena Dinanath Pandey has tendered his resignation today from the party over the Sena's stand on North Indians, particularly on Biharis.
Addressing a press meet here Mr Pandey, a former BJP MLA and President of Sena for Jharkhand (earlier Bihar) for more than 12 years, said he had sent his resignation to Sena chief Bala Sahib Thackrey for the party's narrow regionalism and anti-bihari stance.
'Considering the situation it is very difficult to continue in the party which does not respect the feelings of the people of the other states. Despite serving it for so many years, I have no other option but to quit the party.'' Mr Pandey said.
He, however, did not divulge about his future plans. Mr Pandey also fought elections several times on Sena ticket, but could not win.
