Patna, Mar 15 (UNI) The Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee(BPCC) today charged the Nitish Kumar government with 'misleading' the people by making 'false' promises of good governence.
Speaking in the BPCC's working committee meeting at Ara, the Congress leaders said despite two and half-year rule, the NDA Government in the state had failed on all fronts to keep their promises and they would have to face the ire of the people.
The Congress leaders allged that that red-tapism and corruption had gone up, while law and order had deteriorated.
They also charged the Nitish Kumar Government with depriving the people of the benefits of various schemes of the Central Government.
The Congress will agitate against the 'injustice' with the poors and fight for their cause to redress their grievances, they said.
Elaborating on their rural campaign ''Congress Chali Gaon Ki Oar (Congress to the villages)'', they said it was important to reach the people at grassroot level and work for them.
