Nashik, Mar 15 : Defence Minister A K Antony today said that there is no change in India's Pakistan policy after general elections in the neighbouring country.

"There was no change in our policy towards Pakistan," he told reporters at the Hindustan Aeronautics complex here.

Antony was replying to a question about India's stand after the February 18 polls in Pakistan, where Nawaz Sharif-led PML (N) and the Pakistan People's Party have emerged as the dominant political force.

Responding to a query on the progress of the Indo-US civil nuclear pact, Antony said a meeting of the UPA-Left committee will be held on Monday and declined to answer further questions on the deal, which is being opposed by the government's communist allies.

He said a steel hub would be set up in Nashik soon.

Antony also visited the factory and workshop of SU-30 fighter aircraft along with HAL chairman Ashok Baweja and other senior officials.
