Panaji, Mar 15 (UNI) Even as a programme has been finalised for holding Mrs Goa beauty pageant on March 29 here, the organisers have called for entries for the Mr Goa contest, being organised for the first time in the state.
As many as 40 contestants walk the ramp for the grand finale of the ''Hoodia Fit Mrs Goa'' pageant for which fashion choreographer Rajesh Shetty is the trainer and internationally acclaimed fashion Guru Prasad Bidappa from Bangalore is the judge.
The other judges include Ms Vydya and Shobha (organisers of Miss Chennai), while noted pop singer Remo Fernandes will be the chief guest.
The talent round of the contest will be held on March 23 at Pharo's Den in Candolim and the finals at Taleigao Community Centre, Coordinator of the Event Phoebe Fernandes said.
The Mr Goa contest, being organised by Bangalore-based Zenrish Entertainment, has invited entries from men between 21 and 30 years of age from all walks of life to find out ''bold, smart, handsome and confident'' attributes among them.
''Industry is in constant search of new faces and this show will give the opportunity to exhibit their talent and open new areas in the world of fashion, modelling, television and cinema,'' she said.
The event will boost the confidence of our young and aspiring men of Goa, whether they are married or unmarried. The entries will be received fom March 19 to April 6, she added.
