Man gets lifer for murdering uncle
Sangli, Maharashtra, Mar 14 (UNI) A local court today awarded life imprisonment to a person for murdering his uncle at Kadegaon tehsil of the district last year over land dispute.
According to the prosecution, on January 16, 2007, the accused, Rajaram Namdev Nalawade, a resident of Sonkire in Kadegaon tehsil, stabbed his uncle, Mahipati Aba Nalawade, to death over land dispute.
District Additional Court Judge Justice N D Batole convicted Rajaram under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
