Itanagar, Mar 14 (UNI) People of Arunachal will now be sxposed to the pleasures of watching animated characters on the big screen in their own language.
It will be the state's first animated film and the story of the movie revolves around the legendary figure of Tani belt 'Abo Tani'.
Produced by Songio Taw and Songio Tania, both brothers, the state's first ever self-animated cartoon film is expected to be released by mid-April this year, sources here today said.
The animation quality matches well with the contemporary standards of bollywood animated movies like 'Hanuman'. The film contains 2-D animated characters and as per the demand of the scene, a few 3-D characters had also been introduced to add life to the film.
The brothers are working at reincarnating the memories of Abo Tani and his ways of tackling various adverse situations that he faced. The story in the movie is based purely upon the folktales and folklores.
Both the producers had been working for the last seven months on the film, having spent over Rs six lakh, sources disclosed here adding that the film was being promoted for larger viewership within the state.
