Lenovo mulls R
New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) China-based Lenovo today said it is evaluating options for setting up a research and development centre in the country.
''We are constantly evaluating opportunities,'' Lenovo India Managing Director Amar Babu told reporters here.
Lenovo, which ranks fourth in the PC market globally, had bought IBM's loss-making PC arm in 2005.
It is already running an innovation centre in Mumbai. It has two other centres in the United States and China.
The Mumbai centre works on the development of personal computing solutions, such as hardware platform, application integration, active management technology, network connectivity and power management, in collaboration with companies like Intel, Microsoft, LanDesk, IBM and Cisco.
