Jammu, Mar 13 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) was granted bail by the special mobile magistrate electricity, who is allegedly involved along with others for attacking a security guard who was posted at his residence.
Sources said that special mobile magistrate electricity M K Sharma granted bail to Faqir Nath, MLA from Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers party (JKNPP).
''In a complaint filed by Sukhdev Singh posted as security guard in the house of MLA Faqir Nath, it was reported that accused Faqir Nath along with four others, in state of intoxication attacked him while he was discharging his duties,'' sources told UNI adding that a case was registered against the accused at Domana police station under sections 332, 353, 147 RPC.
However, four others who were arrested yesterday have already been given bail while MLA Faqir Nath appeared before the court along with his counsel and court after hearing, granted him bail on furnishing surety amount of Rs 5000 with the direction to cooperate with the investigation.
