Swearing-in of DAN ministry likely today
Kohima, Mar 12 (UNI) With the Election Commission of India (ECI) constituting the 59-member 11th Nagaland Assembly and President's Rule likely to be revoked today, the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) may be invited to form the Ministry in Nagaland this afternoon.
DAN's Chief Ministerial candidate Neiphiu Rio said this, while speaking to news persons here yesterday and added that the swearing-in ceremony would be held at one go with the entire Cabinet of 12 ministers being sworn-in today.
He said that under the 91st Amendment of Downsizing of Ministry, Nagaland could have a maximum of 12 ministers, including the chief minister. Moreover, there will be a Speaker and a Deputy Speaker, who would be elected by the House.
