Pre-paid meter system for electricity consumers
Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 12: Kerala Electricity Minister A K Balan told the state Assembly today that the government would consider introducing pre-paid electric meter system for its consumers.
Replying to questions, he said such a system was found useful in Bangalore to bring down power consumption. The Minister also said quality of power distribution in the state capital would be improved by setting up 220 KV sub-stations at Kattakada and Vizhinjam and 110 KV line at Paruthipara.
