Pioneer Urban associates with ICL's Delhi team

New Delhi, Mar 12 (UNI) Pioneer Urban, the leading real estate developer, today announced its association with the rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL) for the Delhi Team.

The team will be called the ''Delhi Giants''.

Delhi Giants team is led by former Sri Lanka captain Marvan Atapattu and legendary fast bowler Shane Bond. The other players in the team are Avishka Gunavardene, Nic Pothas, Dale Benkenstein, Shane Bond, Abbas Ali, Abid Nabi, Ali Murtaza, Dhruv Mahajan, J P Yadav and Shalabh Srivastav.

Pioneer Urban MD, Manish Periwal said ''We are overwhelmed to have been associated with ICL which looks forward to fostering the young cricket talent in India and giving them a platform to showcase their caliber.'' ''As a company we want to help bring together the young talent pool of India and nurture their professional capability up to the International standard. This format of cricket literally changes the rules of the game much as we intend doing to the business of real estate,'' he added.

Edelweiss 20s Challenge will continue till April 7.
