Lahore, Mar 12 : Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari has said that his party members want him to become the Prime Minister, but that is not his "destination".

Earlier, PPP Vice Chairmen Makhdoom Amin Fahim and Yousaf Raza Gillani, PPP Punjab President Shah Mahmood Qureshi, and PPP leader Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar were the frontrunners for the office of Prime Minister.

Zardari did not contest the February 18 elections.

In an answer to a question about the controversial Kalabagh Dam, he said the new Government would not take up a project that would divide the nation. His party would rather focus on smaller dams.

According to the Daily Times, Zardari said the new Government's top priority would be to solve unemployment problem in the country and to strengthen security for its citizens.
