Dialogue process with Pak will resume, PM's doors are open for talks

Srinagar, Mar 12 (UNI) Union Water Resources minister and Jammu and Kashmir Congress Chief Prof Saifuddin Soz today said dialogue process with Pakistan had slowed down because of unstability in the neighbouring country.

He said doors of the Prime Minister's office are open for anyone to discuss any issue.

Voting has done wonders and the dialogue process with Pakistan would start once the new democratic government assures office there, Prof Soz told reporters here this afternoon.

He said dialogue with Pakistan was on and because of unstability there, it had slowed down.

Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh was eager to have friendship with Pakistan.

Earlier, addressing a public meeting at Sher-e-Kashmir park near here, Mr Soz welcomed the nuclear deal with the US.

He said the country has just three per cent power generation and we need the deal.

Mr Soz expressed the hope that Left allies will allow the UPA government to go ahead with the nuclear deal for the benefit of the country.

He hoped the difference on the nuclear deal would be sorted out with the Left allies.

He said militancy had created a lot of problems for the people in the state.

Stating that dialogue is the only way to resolve all problems, Mr Soz said doors of the PMO. Are open for talks.

Referring to talks between the centre and some Hurriyat leaders, he said the process must continue and the stalemate must end.

He said dialogue was the only way to move ahead on any issue.
