Bangalore, Mar 12 (UNI) Accusing that the 'Marxist Authoritarian rule' was prevailing in Kerala, the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) national executive member and former state president of Kerala, P S Sreedharan Pillai, today demanded immediate dismissal of LDF government and imposition of President's rule.
Addressing a press conference here he charged that the LDF government in Kerala was indulging in 'state-sponsored terrorism' and targetting BJP and RSS workers only to 'muzzle the voice of opposition' against its misrule.
Narrating the gruesome incident in which five RSS and BJP workers were done to death, Mr Pillai informed that the LDF government had declared over 100 villages in Kerala as 'Communist Villages' and was loath to see any activities of other political parties in these marked villages.
The CPI(M) had unleashed a rein of terror and left a trial of death of RSS and BJP workers as it was unable to stomach the fact that other political parties were gaining ground in Kannur considered as a bastion of Marxists. "Indian Constitution has been superceded by the CPM party constitution in Kannur district," Mr Pillai said.
Demanding immediate intervention of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on the state sponsored killings in Kerala, he said that the BJP would resort to a nation-wide campaign against the CPM's authoritarian rule in Kerala.
Workers of opposition parties had became the targets of LDF government in Kerala with the tacit support of police force, he alleged.
While condemning the action of police, which had remained a mute spectator on all occasions of killing of opposition party workers, Mr Pillai also demanded the deployment of central forces to maintain law and order in the state.
