Bank manager sent to jail on corruption charge

Patna, Mar 12 (UNI) A special court today remanded the manager of a nationalised Bank for 14 days judicial custody in connection with a bribery case.

Officers of the CBI produced the manager of Sheohar branch of Central Bank of India, Arjun Ram, before Special CBI Judge Radheshyam Prasad, who remanded him to judicial custody till March 26, 2008.

Earlier, CBI had arrested Mr Ram from his office while he was accepting Rs 2000 from a person for issuance of Kisan credit card.
