Mumbai, Mar 11 (UNI) Bollywood's veteran actor Rishi Kapoor and actress Sridevi will be honoured with the ''living Legend'' award during the FICCI-Frames 2008, annual global convention on the business of media and entertainment, beginning here from March 25.
They will be presented with the award on the last day of the three-day convention, the organisers said here today, adding that last year this award was presented to actor Kamal Hassan and actress Rekha. Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Priyaranjan Dasmunsi will inaugurate the event.
Rishi Kapoor made his acting debut as a child artist in ''Mera Naam Joker'', in the early 1970s. He is grandson of the legendary Prithiviraj Kapoor and father of Ranvir Kapoor, who made his acting debut last year in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, ''Saawariya''.
Rishi Kapoor's first film as a lead actor, ''Bobby'', opposite Dimple Kapadia was a super-hit. His recent films in supporting roles include, ''Fanaa'' and ''Namastey London''.
Sridevi has also been acting since her childhood in films in various languages, including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi. Her popular films include Chandni, Lamhe, Sadma, Chaalbaaz and Mr India.
She is married to noted film producer Boney Kapoor.
