In his application filed through his counsel Bhupinder Singh Raja, the IG said he was a 1982 batch IPS officer and had worked dedicatedly sincerely throughout his career.

However, after these high-ups came to power, they started settling personal scores and stopped his promotion as ADGP and thereafter, got him suspended, he alleged.
He further alleged that he was not even allotted official residence during his posting as IG (Counter Intelligence) at Pathankot, claiming that he had nothing to do with the affairs of IET, Bhaddal and he apprehended that he might be implicated in a false case.
He said he had already expressed his apprehension about his implication in a false case in a petition filed by him in the High Court challenging his suspension.
