Mr Rao pointed out that the empowered committee of the finance ministers of all states in the country has agreed to introduce GST (Goods and Service Tax) with effect from April 1, 2010. In the GST--Schools, doctors, hospitals, amusement park and coin operated amusement machine services are also going to be covered, he added.
